With the technological era now upon us, we are making every effort to automate our functions to improve the quality of care to the patients we serve. In October 2004, we implemented an electronic medical records system that has allowed improved patient care, enhanced patient satisfaction and better provider efficiency.

Wilson Family Medicine is pleased to offer a patient portal for our patients. A patient portal is an electronic entryway into our practice that is secure and compliant with HIPAA regulations. It is secure with your own personal login and password. Using these portals will give you enhanced access to the practice, increasing our ability to provide timely care for you and your family. Both portals are free of charge. Patient portals allow you to do the following:

1. Send an email message directly to our practice/providers.
2. Request an appointment.
3. Request a prescription.
4. Ask a staff or doctor.
5. Ask a biller.
6. Pay bill online.
7. Do a virtual office visit.
